Publications

Publications from the INNOVAE Center for Entrepreneurial Business Architecture (CEBA) transform the Center’s research into a documented and expanding body of knowledge about entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial development, enterprise creation, market development, growth, and business transformation. They provide the formal intellectual record of the Center’s work: the questions being investigated, the evidence being examined, the entrepreneurial phenomena being documented, and the concepts progressively contributing to the development of Entrepreneurial Business Architecture (EBA).

CEBA publishes work across the historical, economic, behavioral, strategic, technological, institutional, and practical dimensions of entrepreneurship. Publications may investigate the evolution of entrepreneurial thought, the development of entrepreneurial capabilities, opportunity discovery, startup formation, business models, market creation, digital business presence, innovation, growth and scale, entrepreneurial ecosystems, or the relationship between entrepreneurship and economic transformation. They may also examine individual entrepreneurs, enterprises, industries, cities, regions, and countries as sources of evidence for understanding how entrepreneurship develops and operates in different environments.

The Center’s publications reflect different forms and stages of research development. They include Research Notes, Working Papers, Research Papers, literature reviews, historical studies, conceptual papers, entrepreneurial case studies, ecosystem studies, reports, comparative analyses, and other research publications. This allows discoveries and emerging ideas to enter the public intellectual record while larger research programs and books continue to develop, creating a continuous connection between investigation, documentation, publication, and the evolution of EBA.

Publication is therefore an essential part of how Entrepreneurial Business Architecture is being built. Rather than presenting EBA as a completed theory, CEBA documents the research from which the discipline develops, allowing its concepts and architecture to be examined, challenged, refined, and expanded over time. The publications presented below form a growing intellectual archive of that process—a body of work designed to deepen our understanding of entrepreneurs and enterprises while contributing to the development of an applicable architecture for creating entrepreneurs, building businesses, developing markets, scaling enterprises, and generating sustainable economic and social value.
